DIY Car Cup Holder Cellphone Mount
Here is a quick and handy way to mount almost any cellphone into a car cup holder. All you need is an angle brace, three neoprene washers, a threaded rod, cable ties, one of those cheapy universal cellphone belt clips, a cup holder and plaster of paris. It may seem like a lot, but a majority of these things can be found around the house. Basically you are creating an angled mount for the cellphone and sticking it in a cup filled with plaster of paris. If you are handy enough you could ditch the cup/plaster and use the angled brace to mount it somewhere else in your car. Or you could just get a Bluetooth headset, but who am I to tell you how to use your cell on the move.

Between myself and a few friends, we own a myriad of gps unit,
chartplotters, and fishfinders. All of us have noticed the lousy
visibility of these units when trying to view them in direct sunlight.
One of my buddies stumbled across a gps accessories
site that offers sun visors (or shades if you will) specifically made
for these units. I have purchase several of these for my units and can
tell you that they definetly help quite a bit. I don’t suppose there’s
a perfect solution for this problem, but if anyone knows of one, let me
know.

The make, model, and year of your truck affects the type of seat you have, so buying Chevy truck Accessories and seat covers is not as easy as just picking up a one size fits all option, unless you don’t mind ill fitting seat covers.
