We want to let you in on a little secret: homemade marinara sauce is better than store-bought. Much better. Although it is pretty easy to make, sometimes the last thing you want to do is have to whip up a batch of marinara sauce every time you want spaghetti. Behold, freezer marinara sauce. When you’re finished making a batch, you can freeze it for later so that when you have that hankering for Italian, its just a matter of warming up some sauce and cooking noodles.

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
 2 cups basil leaves
1 cup fresh herbs (oregano and parsley)
